Micro Blown MLT Cable

Micro blown multi-loose tube is a blown fibre optic cable which is a non-metallic, non-armoured and has a strand loose tube structure. The loose tubes are made of high-modulus plastic and filled with tube tube-filling compound. The tubes (and fillers) are stranded around a non-metallic central strength member and surrounded with dry water-blocking material to form a cable core. An extremely thin outer PE sheath is extruded outside the core. It’s easy to bend when laying by air blown because of its small diameter, lightweight and moderate hardness. This cable is suitable for construction in crowded metropolitan area network pipelines, and avoiding destructive excavation in the past.

Application

This cable is used for backbone network, metropolitan area network, and access network.

Product Benefits

Small size and lightweight.
Tube filling compound providing key protection for fibres.
Low friction coefficient sheath design and materials assure long air blowing distance.
All non-metallic structure, so there are no requirements for grounding.
Easy to bend, laying and operate with small diameter, light weight.
